Andrea Diggs

Andrea began her arts administration career while still in college, acting as the orchestra and choir manager for student-run productions. During her time in choirs in Washington, DC, she served as chorus President and chaired/co-chaired/volunteered for several events. In 2012, she was the founding Board President of Charles Washington Symphony Orchestra, based in Charles Town, WV - a position she held for 9 years. She also served as the lead administrator during that time, producing full seasons of concerts, obtaining grants, and organizing fundraisers. She has organized several events as a school teacher, community organizer, and faculty at Shepherd University School of Music in Shepherdstown, WV, including The Appalachian Relief Concert and Fund in November 2024 that turned into a University-wide event raising thousands of dollars and items that went directly to those in need in Southern WV after the devastating Hurricane Helene.
