Audition Information

Winchester Musica Viva holds annual auditions for all singers in every section.  Auditions are held in August at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 26 W. Boscawen Street, Winchester, VA.

Interested singers are encouraged to audition with a prepared piece, sight-reading, and range work.  Music teachers, college staff and graduate students, and those with significant upper-level choral experience are encouraged to participate.

Viva’s repertoire encompasses a wide variety of choral styles including classical music, new music, standard choral literature, and original compositions, as well as lighter genres such as jazz and spirituals. Contact us for additional information.
