Anna Williams

Anna Williams is delighted to be singing with Winchester Musica Viva, thanks to a gentle *ahem* shove from her dear friend, Susan Dommer. A lifelong singer, Anna has spent much of her life making music in church and among friends. She studied Choral Music Education at Christopher Newport University, where she had the unforgettable opportunity to travel to London and sing under Simon Carrington, founding member of The King’s Singers.

While at CNU, Anna discovered that her true passion lies in singing, more than in teaching. Today, she works as an Office Manager for a mechanical subcontractor in Manassas. Outside of work, she’s a proud bluegrass wife to her husband, Travis, and mom to their two children, Owen and Emily.

Returning to high-level choral music through WMV has been a soul-refreshing journey—one that reconnects Anna with the joy and fulfillment that only singing can bring.
