Susan Dommer

Susan Dommer is a dedicated music educator with a strong foundation in Choral and Instrumental Music, having earned a dual degree in Music Education from James Madison University. She holds a Masters in Music Education from Shenandoah University and achieved National Board Certification in 2011. With a 35-year career teaching middle school chorus, Susan now serves as a PWCS Music Mentor and contributes to the work of the PWCS Arts Team. Additionally, she is the Artistic Director of the Greater Manassas Children's Choir and directs the Forgetful Friends Chorus, a program designed for individuals with moderate dementia, their caregivers, and volunteers. Since 1988, Susan has served as the Music Director at Manassas Church of the Brethren. Active in the Virginia music community, she frequently serves as an adjudicator and as a guest conductor.
